Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 24, 2026

See Jane Heal Wellness (“See Jane Heal,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our booking system, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in keeping with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable New Brunswick law.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you book a session, fill out our contact form, sign up for updates, or email or call us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, the service you’re booking, your message, and any details you choose to share about your wellness goals or needs.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to understand general visitor activity (for example, pages viewed, browser type and approximate location). This information is not used to identify you personally.

Online booking and payments

Appointments and payments are handled through Square (Block, Inc.). When you book online, the information you enter, including your contact details and any payment card information, is collected and processed by Square under its own privacy policy. See Jane Heal does not store your full card number. We receive your booking details and contact information so we can confirm, prepare for and follow up on your appointment. You can review Square’s privacy notice at squareup.com/ca/en/legal/general/privacy.

Website hosting

This website is hosted by Squarespace, which processes contact form submissions, newsletter sign-ups and site analytics on our behalf. Squarespace’s privacy policy is available at squarespace.com/privacy.

How we use your information

We use your personal information to schedule and manage appointments and workshops; respond to your questions; send appointment reminders and important updates; provide safe, personalized sessions; process payments, cancellations and fees under our cancellation policy; send occasional news and offers if you’ve opted in; and meet our legal, tax and insurance obligations.

Session information and confidentiality

Anything you share with Jane about your health, wellbeing or personal circumstances during intake or a session is kept confidential. It is used only to provide your care and is never sold or shared for marketing. We will only disclose it with your consent, or where the law requires it (for example, to prevent serious harm).

Sharing your information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the practice (such as Square for booking and payments, Squarespace for our website, and our email provider), with your insurance or benefits provider when you ask us to, or where required by law. Some of these providers may store information outside Canada, in which case it may be subject to the laws of that country.

Email updates

If you sign up for news and updates, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required for legal, tax and insurance purposes, and then securely delete or destroy it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work with reputable providers that use industry-standard safeguards.

Your rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to how we use it (subject to legal or contractual limits). To make a request, contact us using the details below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with the date it was last updated.
